Ky Racing Officials To Hear Report On Finances

(AP) - A government task force looking into how to generate more money for the regulation of horse racing in Kentucky is preparing to make some recommendations. But a state budget crunch has left some flexibility for spending increases. The report on the finances of Kentucky Horse Racing Commission will be issued at the Commission regular meeting Monday. Horse racing officials have said that they need more money to enforce all new regulations, including a recent ban on steroids. LEXINGTON, KY.
